The overall winner of the competition was Justine Dunn of Longrigg, Strontian, who received a free pass to all events and activities at this year’s festival. Justine’s logo will be used on all promotional material for the festival.
Winner of the junior section of the competition - which attracted almost 50 entries - was eleven year old Sara MacKinnon of Strontian Primary School, who was presented with an Argos gift voucher. Runners-up prizes of vouchers went to Jessie MacPherson and Charlie Pleming from Acharacle Primary.
The girls’ designs will be used on posters and leaflets advertising children’s events at this year’s festivals.

Book & Arts Festival”
A recent appeal for volunteers has prompted enough local interest to ensure that a new local arts festival will succeed the former
Arainn Shuaineirt Book Festival.
The brand new “Three Lochs Book and Arts Festival” aims to draw together communities from throughout the De tha Dol? area by featuring a wide variety of
disciplines, including literature, film, photography, art and crafts.
The festival organisers are now seeking an
attractive logo for the “Three Lochs Festival”, which may encompass this year’s theme of “ebb and flow”.
There will be prizes for the winner of the junior
section (primary school age) and the senior section (high school age/adult) and the overall winner will be presented with a free pass for all the activities at this year’s festival!
